Jared is serving in the West Indies Mission. Interesting note, that is the first mission my parents served in. He is currently on the island of guadeloupe where they primary language is french. Jared will spend his two years on "the French side" of the mission. He had his first baptism last sunday. One he worked hard for. He said that down there, no baptism comes easy but now he is ready to go out and baptize everybody. Through his e-mails we can see the lord is molding him into the person he needs to serve him not only for these two years, but for life. when asked about the weather, he said: "the only activity we do here more that breathing is sweating!"
